BTA Advanced Course in IVF - 7 Days
Course Duration: Seven Days
Course Objectives:
The Hands-on Course on ART will include 5 days of hands-on training sessions of Gamete handling and manipulation. This will be supplemented with teaching of the Concepts of Infertility from clinical and lab aspects. The main focus of this advanced seven-day course will be to prepare you for a career in infertility as per the global standards. As part of the course curriculum, trainees will have the opportunity to observe all clinical procedures from induction of the patient, ovum retrievals, embryo transfers and Luteal phase support in live clinical practice of Dr. Hrishikesh Pai and Dr. Nandita Palshetkar.

Who is it for?
This module is for recommended for Clinicians who are looking to launch an exiting practice in the field of Infertility and IVF. It is also for those from a science background, who wish to enter the field of Assisted Reproductive Technologies, in either clinical practice or research. BSC, MSC or Any other life science background, BVSC, MVSC, MBBS, MD, MRCOG, FRCOG. Trainees will get a chance to learn how to set up a new IVF centre and how to manage an IVF lab.

Evaluation of trainee
- Knowledge/Theoretical Component (30%): Multiple choice questions on lab techniques linked to each course module
- Practical Skills (50%): Tested on specific lab techniques taught during the training
- Verbal Communication & Comprehension Skills / Integrative Component (20%): PowerPoint talk on a topic linked to a course module and viva voce
- The performance of the candidate throughout the course will be reflected in a Report
- Candidates will be awarded the Training Certificate
